So, if my great-great grandfather had been hung as a horse thief, does that mean I have a right to special counciling or government protection if I'm confronted with a noose? I'm so damn sick of the tail wagging the dog, especially over nothing! It's a piece of rope people, it has no sentient thought process or means of inflicting harm of it's own accord.

Why not get cranked up over these child molesters or something else that is a real threat? Oh no, they are a victim of society. We failed them in some fashion. You're right, we did. They should have been neutered at the first conviction, not set free intact to inflict more pain and suffering on the population.

Review of Acer 7535-5020 laptop

I've had this 'puter for about 3 months now. All in all, the experience has been most positive. One thing sadly lacking is good sound. For some reason the manufacturer chose to place the openings for the speakers facing away from the user and to then have the lower bezel of the display cover them when in the open position. This is inexcusable. I did not buy this machine to game, so don't think I expect thunder and lightning, but even the most mediocre sound task is dull and muted.

Buy the machine, but buy a good set of speakers at the same time. And if to be used in a mobile environment, good luck finding a good set of speakers that pack well in a laptop case. The best I've found so far are actually intended for use with mp3 players.
